WINONA RYDER REACTS TO HARSH SENTENCE!
Actress Winona Ryder leaps to her feet as she reacts to comments by the prosecutor at the Beverly Hills municipal courthouse in Beverly Hills, December 6, 2002 during sentencing in her felony shoplifting case. Ryder was given three years probation, 480 hours of community service and ordered to pay $11,300 in fines and restitution. Ryder's attorney Mark Geragos is at right.

I was tuned into courTV at that moment.Sentence had not yet been imposed.MissRyder is reacting to the D.A.'s closing argument CHIDING Winona for attempting to gain Jury sympathy by informing the Court of her involvement and personel donation of $200,000 towards the total reward for info and safe return of a child that was Snatched but later discovered killed. I believe Miss Ryder's lawyer informed the Court without first discussing it with Winona.
